Major Action
Aim
Go to the cemetery and retrieve Alma's treasured object to prove my worth to them.
Details/ Plan
I overheard the fair lady Alma talking about a treasured item that they left behind at their late sister's grave- a candle that was their favourite scent. It contains an echo that she finds dear, but she cannot bring herself to go back there and get it herself. I had previously tried to court Alma, yet they refused my advances. However, when I offered to go and retrieve the candle, Alma said if she would be so overjoyed, she wouldn't even mind if I proposed to her!
I have resolved to go to the cemetery, which I know is a ways downriver, but I have never been outside of the town before. I asked around at The Toasty Mink for anyone who knows the way quite well, and I was told about Martin Fisher, who has been fishing up and down the river his entire life. I asked Martin if he could guide me to the cemetery, and he agreed he would help me, but only if I clean his fishing equipment for him. In spite of the unpleasantness, I will do what needs to be done to win the affections of my dear lady Alma.
Relevant Elements, Quirks, NPCs, Other Characters etc.
- Alma
- Martin Fisher
- Echo sensitivity 4: I imagine my high sensitivity to echoes will be very distracting on this quest
- Dark secret: there's a reason that neither, I nor any of my family, leaves Little Avoning anymore. I asked but no one has told me why. I hope it doesn't hinder my efforts
Minor Actions
- Clean Martin Fisher's fishing equipment.
- Water the potted plants in my garden.
Echo Action
I wish to interact with an echo that brings me a very fond memory, and is on my grandad's watch. I miss him.
